When we think of everyday life, we often think of the basics – eating, sleeping, brushing our teeth, heading to work…and the list goes on!

But, what about those experiences that make everyday life FUN? Taking a trip, going to the movies, visiting your favorite restaurant…or even trying a new hobby.

Opportunities like this are brought to our Marklund residents and clients through the Community Day Services (“CDS”) program.

There’s a long list of exciting outings and activities that staff at each of our locations want to do with our residents and clients – mini golf, movies, musicals, shopping, sporting events…and MUCH more!

However, the state of IL only funds a small fraction of these “fun” costs, which restricts these opportunities to a limited number each year.

Now that masks are off and lockdown is officially over at Marklund, we want to bring bigger and better opportunities and outings in FY24!
